UniQuartz is a quartz sand that finds wide industrial application. Apart from the fine particle size, quartz sand (also known as silica sand or industrial sand) has a number of properties that give it an advantage over ordinary construction sand. Among these properties are its high stiffness and low coefficient of thermal expansion. UniQuartz finds application in sandblasting, blasting and casting.
It is extremely suitable for use in dry building mixes. Quartz sand can be used to clean industrial floors, for various plasters, plasters and screeds or as a sprinkle for waterproofing. Fine silica sand is used for garden and grass surfaces, sports grounds and fields. Quartz sand is also used in the glass industry. UniQuartz is available in 3 different grain sizes.
