UniCont C1 BASIC is a cement-based adhesive for interior use. It is intended for laying faience and terracotta tiles using the thin-layer method on horizontal surfaces. C1 grade adhesive contains cement, quartz sand and additives and has normal absorbency. This cement adhesive is the perfect choice for laying on strong and non-deformable waterproofed substrates. UniCont C1 BASIC is recommended for gluing tiles with a maximum size of up to 40x40 cm.
To avoid air bubbles during application, the tiles are placed on top of the adhesive and gently slid into place. The adhesive mixture is not suitable for laying flooring on underfloor heating, for use in damp rooms or for laying on walls.
